Domain Name Dispute Advice
Someone has your domain name? Or, have you been accused of cybersquatting? I can help.
I have successfully obtained domain name transfers to clients, both through negotiated acquisition and by action under the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the .au Dispute Resolution Policy (auDRP). I have also assisted clients defend claims of cybersquatting.
Drawing on more than a decade’s experience as a domain name panelist in 350+ cases, I can provide you with:
- assessment of prospects - is it a strong or a weak case?
- advice on strategy – seek a negotiated acquisition or bring a UDPR action?
- preparation of UDRP filings – both Complaints and Responses
You can watch my video on “Domain Name Disputes under the auDRP and UDRP: Tips and Tricks for Running a Case” - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (IPSANZ/Victorian Bar Twilight Seminar, 5 August 2013).
I have completed an empirical study on the factors associated with a successful complaint under the auDRP, the details of which you can read or watch.
