Mediation
Mediation is a structured negotiation process for resolving disputes. It is is an alternative to a judge imposing a decision on the parties.
More specifically, mediation is a process in which the participants, with the support of an independent third party (the mediator), identify issues, develop options, consider alternatives and make decisions about future actions and outcomes.
